PHOTOGRAPHY TOURS

Discover the unique photogenic beauty of Zagori with our photography tours, led by expert photographer Kostas Zisis. Explore the natural wonders and architectural heritage of the region, capturing stunning images with guidance from a seasoned professional. With its unique terrain, wide range of altitude (from 400 to almost 2500 meters above sea level), exceptional biodiversity and magnificent architectural heritage, the photographic exploration of Zagori's 1000 km2 could take a lifetime. Each tour includes transportation, visits to picturesque locations, and a gathering for photo sharing and discussion. 

Whether you're a novice or experienced photographer, our tours offer unparalleled opportunities to capture Zagori's essence. For the best results, guests are suggested to use a camera with manual settings and RAW format capabilities, DSLR or Mirrorless ILC. However, this is not essential. For better control over framing and composition of the photos, carrying a tripod is also recommended.

CANYONING

EXPERIENCE THE MAJESTY OF NATURE UP CLOSE

Experience the thrill of canyoning, also known as Canyon Crossing, a thrilling adventure sport waiting to be discovered. With the rappel technique, you'll navigate steep canyons and immerse yourself in unparalleled natural beauty. This activity is suitable for adventurers of all levels, provided they don't have a fear of heights or acrophobia. We tailor the choice of canyon to the group's experience level, ensuring an appropriate level of difficulty for an enjoyable adventure.

Embark on an unforgettable journey through the majestic Rogovu Gorge in Papigo, sculpted by the mighty waters of Tymfi. Cross the rugged landscape for 3 to 6 hours, depending on your chosen program, whether it's the Family or Advance canyoning option.
Your adventure begins at Megalo Papigo, where you'll be equipped for the journey ahead. Our expert guides provide a comprehensive 20-minute lesson on equipment usage and abseiling techniques before leading you into the heart of the canyon.

In the event of heavy or continuous rain, activities will not be carried out for safety reasons.

HANG GLIDING

DISCOVER ZAGORI FROM ABOVE

From the village of Asprageloi, nestled in the heart of Zagori, you can embark on a memorable paragliding adventure. Our paragliding excursions take place daily at noon and last for approximately half an hour.

Under the expert guidance of our experienced instructor, you'll glide effortlessly through the air, taking in breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Your flight ends with a gentle landing in the scenic valley of the Fountain of Pasha.

GLINAVOS WINERY

IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE ART OF WINEMAKING

FLY FISHING

For the first time in Greece, we present the opportunity to experience fly fishing in the picturesque region of Epirus. Renowned for their stunning scenery and crystalline waters, the rivers of this area offer a range of fly fishing experiences, from tranquil to challenging. Whether you're a novice seeking an introduction to fly fishing or a seasoned angler looking for new challenges, our expert guides are here to assist.

Beginners will receive personalized instruction on fly fishing techniques and be equipped with everything needed to start their angling journey. For our more experienced guests, we provide valuable insights and guidance to maximize their success in our region's rivers. At the heart of fly fishing lies a profound connection with nature, and we fully embrace the "catch and release" philosophy, ensuring the preservation of wild trout populations. 

No licenses or specialized equipment are required to enjoy this unforgettable experience.

SHEEP WOOL PROCESSING

A JOURNEY THROUGH TRADITION

Join us for a fascinating journey through the art of sheep wool processing. Aristi Mountain Resort & Villas in collaboration with Lena Gerothanasi offer this interactive workshop in the beautiful village of Elafotopos. 

During the seminar, we guide participants through the process of washing, drying, and laying down sheep wool. They also have the opportunity to observe a professional demonstration of traditional fabric-making techniques, including knitting and weaving on the traditional loom. Finally, we explore the felt technique to create a jewelry, for which tools are not necessary

EXCURSION IN ZITSA

Zitsa is the only appellation in the mountainous Epirus region in north-western Greece. It is the sole appellation in the country that deals and with sparkling white wines.

The continental climate and high altitude here mean that this is one of the coolest wine regions in Greece. The high acidity and delicate aromatics of the native Debina grape variety that dominates Zitsa's vineyards are well suited to the growing conditions and to sparkling winemaking.
Debina may be the only officially permitted grape in Zitsa, but it is not the only variety grown in the area. A traditional wine associated with Zitsa is a blended red made from Bekari and Vlachiko grapes, often produced in a sparkling rosé style. The two varieties are also often blended with Cabernet Sauvignon to produce dry, full-bodied table wines.

EXCURSION IN ZAGORI

If you do not want to drive but prefer to be guided by experienced guides to the most beautiful of Zagorochoria and to visit their beauties with them, you only have to express your wish to us.

Day tours include a visit to Ovires Rogovou in Papigo, Thesi-Oxia at the top of the Vikos ravine, Skala Vradetou, some of the most famous bridges in the area, such as Kokoros bridge, Kalogeriko, Paliogefyro and Sarakatsaniki stable in Skamneli. Also in the monastery of Agia Paraskevi in Monodentri, and in the place of Beloi in the village of Vradetto.
Lunch boxes are included.
